Helping Domestic Artisans Build Their Craft and Businesses
Aurum Ethos Maker Fund
At Aurum Ethos, we believe that every artisan deserves the chance to grow, thrive, and carry forward their craft. The Maker Fund is our way of ensuring that the domestic artisan economy not only survives, but flourishes. Every dollar we give back is an investment in the future of artisan craft in America. We are dedicated to transparency in how funds are allocated and will share updates on the makers and projects your purchases help support.

How It Works
10% of every purchase you make goes directly into the Maker Fund.
Behind every product we carry is a person, a story, and a legacy of craft. But too often, artisans struggle to access fair markets, sustain their livelihoods, or secure the resources they need to grow. The Maker Fund exists to bridge that gap. Funds are distributed in two ways:
- Partnerships with Nonprofits: We collaborate with established organizations that support training, apprenticeships, and resources for artisans.
- Direct Grants to Makers: We provide small-scale funding to independent artisans, helping them invest in tools, materials, or the capacity to grow their businesses. Check back here in January 2026 for information on how to apply.
By choosing Aurum Ethos, you are not just buying something beautiful—you are fueling a system that values dignity, sustainability, and human connection.
Updates
Beginning at the end of Q4 2025, we will share quarterly updates on how the Maker Fund is being used. Each update will highlight the artisans, projects, and partnerships supported by your purchases. Through the end of 2026, these updates will appear in a single running list. Starting in 2027, they will be organized by year, making it easier to follow the growth of the fund over time.
